My best pal and I live together and want to simplify our space but decision paralysis is hitting hard Does anyone have advice on outsourcing decluttering or finding a system that works?
Decision freeze is the worst when you are staring at piles of stuff. My sister swore that hiring a pro organizer for a day helped them get the ball rolling and set up a simple keep/toss/donate system. My best pal and I live together and want to simplify our space but decision paralysis is hitting hard Does anyone have advice on outsourcing decluttering or finding a system that works?
I'd definitely second @Smelly Cat '96's suggestion to hire a professional organizer. My best pal and I live together and want to simplify our space but decision paralysis is hitting hard Does anyone have advice on outsourcing decluttering or finding a system that works?
Getting started's often the most challenging part of the process. You'll be amazed at how much weight feels like it's been lifted off your shoulders once you get a little momentum. Wishing you and your best pal the best on your project.Wonderful suggestions. You're right that the emotional attachment to our stuff is a big hurdle for us. Hiring someone to help us get the ball rolling is something we'll look into. Also, that four box method seems like a great way to break our gridlock. It's a simple plan we can put into action right away.
