So I thought I'd find smart tips by joining a decluttering group on Facebook, lol it was big mistake because instead of advice, I ran into folks pushing "hardcore minimalism" and shaming others. A few people were cool, but it felt like déjà vu from a zero-waste group I tried before. At least it made me reflect on why I'm decluttering

I totally get what you mean! I once joined a decluttering group hoping to pick up some useful tips, but it ended up feeling more like a strict minimalism lecture. I had a similar experience in a zero-waste group I tried out. But ultimately, it did help me refocus on my true reasons for wanting to declutter, rather than just jumping on the latest trends

@OrderlyMind Same here. I went in looking for hacks, not a personality test with judgment thrown in. But hey honestly, figuring out your own "why" matters way more than meeting some stranger's idea of perfection. It's all up to you in the end.
