How to achieve a minimalist life?

I'm a person who loves to hoard. I keep everything from old shopping bags to movie tickets and I just can't seem to let go of those. But the rest of the stuff, like clothes I don't really wear anymore, I started giving them away for donation. It felt good. But I still find that I'm far from having a minimalist life. I still buy clothes, collect perfume I rarely spray on me. I want to become minimalist, it's a goal that seems so distant.

I get it—it's hard to let go, especially when the things you keep hold a lot of memories but minimalism feels like such a distant goal because it's not just about getting rid of stuff, it's about changing how we value it. Giving away clothes was a good step, though. It's not a quick fix, but maybe take it one piece at a time. Sometimes, you have to accept that progress is slow, and that's okay. It's a journey, not an instant transformation.

It's a slow process. Even letting go of clothes and unused items is a big step. Minimalism doesn't happen overnight; focus on small, consistent choices, and the clutter will slowly shrink over time
