Over the past few years I’ve accumulated way more than I realized between gifts, impulse buys and just everyday life piling up. My home is starting to feel more like a storage unit than a living space. I recently hit a turning point after spending a weekend trying to find something I knwe I had but couldnt locate. It made me realize I’m tired of being surrounded by stuff I dont use or even like. So I’m officially starting a serious decluttering and organization reset. My goal isnt perfection, its peace and function. But I honestly dont know where to start. For those of you who have done a deep declutter or simplified your home, what worked best? Apps, books, routines or just mindset shifts? I’m all ears.

To be honest, I just do it when I have the energy. it feels like I can accomplish more when I have the energy. I start small, i get rid of the items that I know I don't need anymore. not sure if that helps but yeah

It sure helps, I agree with you saying energy. Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of starting, once you start doing it, everything follows.

True, start with the easiest part. It gets you going. When i started decluttering, the biggest help was picking one small spot and just getting started . Forget perfection, just focus on progress. Mindset mattered more than any app or book for me. Letting go of things I didn't use or like felt freeing.
